On September 1, 2026, the first train of Shijiazhuang Metro Line 4 Phase I project successfully rolled off the production line at the final assembly workshop of CRRC Shijiazhuang Rail Transit Equipment Co., Ltd. As the supplier of the gangway system—the "invisible joint" of the train—Chongqing Yonggui Transportation Equipment Co., Ltd. has contributed its proven product strength to this new artery in the heart of Hebei Province.

The newly launched Shijiazhuang Metro Line 4 train is an 80 km/h Type B aluminum-alloy metro train, featuring an industrial gray body with violet decorative accents, smooth rounded lines, and a minimalist, dynamic design. Compared with the Type A trains used on existing lines, the Type B train is 20 cm narrower in body width—sleeker and offering more stable operation.
The train adopts an aluminum-alloy structure that is both sturdy and lightweight, with a streamlined nose that effectively reduces aerodynamic drag. With a standard passenger capacity of 1,260 in six-car formation and 828 in four-car formation, a total of 22 trains are planned for production.






According to public reports, the Shijiazhuang Metro Line 4 train features a number of highlights:
Greater Comfort — Through systematic noise insulation and reduction treatment, the laminated glass of the side windows uses argon instead of ordinary air in the interlayer, effectively adding an invisible soundproofing buffer. When running at 80 km/h on surface sections, interior noise is kept to no more than 73 decibels. The train is also equipped with an air purification system that filters dust and removes odors.
Greater Intelligence — The Line 4 train is equipped with a full-network intelligent operation and maintenance system, making it one of Shijiazhuang's first batch of digitally smart metro trains. The on-board display screens provide richer information, including not only station names but also transfer directions and surrounding landmarks. Real-time operating data is uploaded to the back-end system, allowing maintenance personnel to monitor vehicle conditions in advance.
Greater Safety — The car body's protective performance has been further optimized, with improved impact resistance. A full suite of intelligent monitoring equipment enables real-time self-diagnostics for all critical components, with instant alerts in case of any detected anomalies.
As the critical flexible connection between train carriages, the gangway system directly determines the train's curve-negotiating capability and passenger safety.
