On April 17th, the first fully automatic electric bus of Hangzhou Metro officially rolled off the assembly line, marking an important step for Hangzhou Metro in the construction of smart urban rail.

The off-line train is the first fully automatic train in Hangzhou Metro, which will be put into use in Hangzhou Metro Line 12. The number of vehicles on Metro Line 12 is 29 trains with 4 vehicles (3 trains and 1 trailer) and 4 trains with 6 vehicles (4 trains and 2 trailers), totaling 140 vehicles. The maximum running speed of the vehicle is 100km/h, and the AH model unique to Hangzhou is adopted.

01. High automation and high security

 

Fully automatic train operation can realize the automation of the whole process, such as waking up, sleeping, self-checking, entering and leaving the warehouse, running on the main line, opening and closing the door at the stop and washing the car.

In terms of safety, the train is equipped with intelligent systems such as active obstacle detection, passive obstacle detection (including derailment detection) and running gear safety detection. The key circuits and subsystems are designed redundantly, which greatly improves the running safety. In addition, the train also has fault self-healing functions such as subsystem automatic reset and remote control, ensuring high availability under abnormal conditions.

02. Intelligent upgrade

Hangzhou Metro will establish a network-level intelligent operation and maintenance platform, and rely on the cloud platform to realize the digital management of "manufacturing, transportation, inspection and repair" of vehicles throughout their life cycle.

In terms of intelligence, the train adopts a three-network integration architecture of control network, maintenance network and media information network to realize an integrated on-board integration system, and improves the efficiency of human-computer interaction through the integration of network and signal screens. The train is also equipped with intelligent detection systems such as driver and passenger behavior analysis, passenger compartment legacy detection, pantograph-catenary detection, track inspection, tunnel imaging and energy consumption recording, which provide comprehensive support for intelligent driving and service.

03. Low carbon comfort

In terms of green and low-carbon, the train adopts permanent magnet traction system, and the comprehensive energy-saving rate is over 20%. It is equipped with oil-free air compressor, which can save 40 liters of lubricating oil and reduce 0.1 tons of carbon dioxide emissions in five years. The air conditioning system has the function of anti-bacteria and anti-virus, and adopts intelligent air supply technology to improve passengers' physical comfort. The passenger compartment seat and the end are equipped with high-power USB charging interface, which is convenient for passengers to charge conveniently. The train has also improved the level of vibration and noise reduction by adopting high-seal electric plug doors, sound insulation pads and high-performance sound insulation materials.

 

New progress of the line:

The construction of Line 12 was promoted in an orderly manner.

The first-phase project of Hangzhou Metro Line 12 is the core project of the fourth-phase construction plan of Hangzhou Metro. The whole line of the project is laid underground, with a total length of 26 kilometers and 12 new stations. At present, the main structures of 6 stations have been completed and 21 shields are being promoted in an orderly manner.

This line is the only north-south rail transit backbone line in the Science and Technology Innovation Corridor in the west of Hangzhou. After opening to traffic, it will fully fill the north-south commuter short board in the west of Hangzhou, improve the comprehensive three-dimensional traffic network of Hangzhou West Railway Station, greatly shorten the commuting time between the future science and technology city and Zhijiang New City, and effectively alleviate the ground traffic pressure in the west of Hangzhou. At the same time, the line will be connected in series with the core hubs such as Hangzhou West Railway Station, Alibaba, Zhijiang Laboratory and other science and technology carriers, which will strongly support the strategic landing of the science and technology corridor in the west of the city, strengthen the radiation-driven role of the main city of Hangzhou in the western area, and help Hangzhou build a "multi-center network" urban spatial pattern.
