On the morning of July 25 , 2022 , with the coordination of the hoisting equipment, the first urban EMU train of the S2 line was successfully connected to the track at the Xiatang parking lot, laying the foundation for the start of the test section test, cold and hot slip work in the second half of the year, marking that the S2 line has taken another important step towards opening to traffic. The Wenzhou S2 line urban EMU adopts a 4- unit urban D- type car with a maximum operating speed of 140 kilometers per hour . The streamlined body design is inspired by the leaping dolphin, showing vitality and dynamism.
With the support of Yonggui Group, Yonggui Cross-Road was fortunate to participate in the construction of the cross-road for the S2 vehicles of Wenzhou Urban Railway. From the design end to material preparation, production delivery and after-sales guarantee, the most stringent quality control and manufacturing level in history were implemented throughout the whole process to ensure the smooth rollout of the first train.
