Project Highlights
Xiamen Metro Line 3 is the third metro line opened in Xiamen. It officially started operation on June 25, 2021. The total length of the line is 45.01 kilometers, with a total of 31 stations, including 28 underground stations and 3 elevated stations. It adopts B-type trains with 6-car formations.
There are 43 trains allocated, which adopt B-type aluminum alloy drum-shaped car bodies, with 6-car formations, powered by a DC 1500V overhead contact network, and the maximum operating speed is 80 kilometers per hour. There are 244 seats in a full train, and it can carry a maximum of 2062 passengers.
